Possible solutions for orange player indicator (EAFC 26, Friendlies/UT online):
- Disconnect any extra input devices (keyboard, extra controllers, HOTAS, steering wheels, etc.)
- Ensure PS5 controller is set as the primary device in Windows Game Controllers
- Reset controller settings in-game or re-bind the "Switch Player" button
- Toggle Player Indicator / Name Bar settings in-game (on/off, or High Contrast Mode)
- Launch Friendlies via a different menu (e.g. Kick-Off first, then re-enter Friendlies)
- Disable overlays (Discord, Steam, GeForce Experience, Xbox Game Bar)
- Remove/rename config files in Documents/EA Sports FC 26/ to reset controller settings
- Clear EA App cache (C:\Users\[Name]\AppData\Local\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\Cache)
- Update/reinstall controller drivers and firmware (for PS5 controller in Windows)
- Test using wired USB connection instead of Bluetooth
