Pause/replay exploit in FC 26

Hello,

I would like to report a serious issue in EA SPORTS FC 26 Division Rivals that looks like an exploit of the pause/replay glitch and resulted in an unfair loss of Rivals rank points.

Game: EA SPORTS FC 26

Mode: Ultimate Team, Division Rivals

My platform: Xbox Series X

Opponent’s platform: PC

Opponent’s nickname: RAYN_Q11

Date and time of the match: Feb 06, 2026, approximately 16:08

During the match, my opponent paused the game. After the pause timer expired, the game did not resume on my side: the pause/replay interface stayed on the screen, and I was unable to control my players or return to normal gameplay. At the same time, my opponent could continue playing and scoring goals, so for them the match was running normally. I completely lost control of the match and lost Rivals points because of this.

This does not look like a normal connection issue. The problem was specifically that I was stuck in the pause/replay interface only on my side, while the opponent retained full control. I have seen similar reports from other players about a pause/replay glitch in FC 26 Division Rivals, so it may be an exploitable bug rather than an isolated lag.

What I have already done:

• Reported this player directly from within the game using the in‑game reporting system.

• Submitted a report via the official “Report a player” tool on the EA Help website.

• Recorded a video of the match where it is clearly visible that I am stuck in the pause/replay screen while the opponent continues to play and score. I can provide/upload this video if needed (please let me know the preferred way to share it).

This behavior harms not only me but also other Rivals players, because it gives an unfair advantage and goes against EA’s Positive Play and fair play principles.

I kindly ask EA staff to:

• Review this specific match and investigate the account of player RAYN_Q11 for possible use of this exploit.

• Take appropriate action against the account if the exploit is confirmed, so this player cannot continue abusing it.

• Forward this issue to the FC 26 Ultimate Team / Rivals team to help identify and fix the pause/replay glitch.
