[PC - 3080 / i7 ] Extreme freezes and "desync" making games unplayable

Hi.

First of all, I've tried almost everything, changing every type of graphic settings, Borderless, Fullscreen, lowering everything to a minimum etc. Changed Nvidia settings back and forth, turned every other application off.

The game worked fine and none of this occured for the first 4 / 5 hours of gameplay yesterday. Some fps drops but nothing worrying until this started happening, and it has consistently been happening for now 5 hours, restarted everything, repaired files, changed Nvidia drivers, nothing helped.

I've played hundreds of hours on this same computer on FC 25 without an issue, 80 fps minimum, average around 100 110. Was still playing fine 2 days ago.

- THE ISSUE :

So I can tell there is an issue right from game start because the Game clock on the top left does not progress normally, it freezes, and adds time by 2 or 3 minutes at a time. The game is choppy, and per game I get I would say between 7 and 12 freezes, that last around 5 seconds, sometimes more. 

IF I am playing ONLINE, the game will "desync" me from the server, and I will not be able to control my players for a solid 15 20 seconds, where I see everything happening like it was sped up, and my input delay becomes 8 to 10 seconds, until it catches up to the server and then I can play "normally" again (FPS and input delay are still choppy slightly but at least playable). Until the next freeze.
Happened in Rush mode as well, although less frequently, maybe half the freezes.

IF I am playing squad battles (OFFLINE, no live opponent), the game freezes and the catching up part doesnt occur. The game freezes happen around the same amount, but at least they're not followed by a 20 seconds unplayable part. The game did not progress during the freeze. So I am still "able" to play Squad Battles, it's not enjoyable but it's not even close to the online issue.

The game never crashed, not once. It only freezes. So I cant provide any crash report. Any advice, or things to try or consider?
