PC FPS drop when I start a game in any mode

When I start a game my FPS immediately drops to between 5-10 fps on my PC. I have tried a few different workarounds but nothing seems to help.

Please can this issue be looked at. A few weeks ago I had the issue where at half time the FPS drops to 5 but at least I could play the first half smoothly, this just seems to have gotten worse now as I can't even play a game from the start.
