[PC] Match simulation freezes while stadium animations continue

I am experiencing a very strange freezing issue on PC. It also happened to me in FC 25.

After launching the game, during the first match, every 20–40 seconds the match freezes for around 10–15 seconds. Players, the ball, match timer and HUD completely stop. However, the game itself is not frozen: FPS stays stable, crowd sounds continue, and stadium animations keep working.

I recorded a video where you can see that in FUT Online Draft during the freeze the assistant referee flags and corner flags are still moving, while players and the entire match simulation are frozen.

After the freeze, the game fast-forwards to catch up and then freezes again. This repeats multiple times.

The issue also happens in offline modes (Career Mode and Match Simulation). If I play through the first half, the problem usually disappears and the game runs perfectly afterwards until I restart it.

This does not look like a performance/FPS issue, but rather like the match simulation/game thread is temporarily freezing while rendering continues.

What can I do about it?
