Performance issue in EA SPORTS FC 26 and FC 25 on Dell G15 5510

I am posting regarding a serious performance issue on my laptop when running EA SPORTS FC 26, and previously EA SPORTS FC 25 as well.

My device is:

Dell G15 5510 laptop

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

CPU: Intel Core i7-10870H

RAM: 16 GB

Problem description:

The game lags heavily during gameplay, even when using low graphics settings. The most unusual part is that GPU usage remains low instead of being properly utilized. Because of this, the game performance is poor and not consistent.

Important background:

I previously had EA SPORTS FC 25 installed through Steam, and it was working properly before.

After I installed EA SPORTS FC 26 through the EA app, performance problems started.

From that point, both FC 26 and FC 25 stopped working properly.

I then deleted FC 25 completely, but the issue still remained.

At the moment, FC 26 still suffers from lag during gameplay with low GPU usage.

What I already tried:

1. Changed NVIDIA Control Panel settings for the game

- Set the game to use the high-performance NVIDIA processor

- Changed power/performance-related settings

- Adjusted 3D settings for better performance

2. Confirmed system power/performance settings

- Laptop is plugged in during gameplay

- Windows power mode / performance-related settings were already adjusted

- Graphics settings were configured to prefer high performance

3. Tried Dell performance tools

- I had Alienware Command Center before, but it was not working properly

- I am also trying to reinstall it

4. Restarted the system multiple times

5. Checked Task Manager

- The game is lagging during gameplay

- GPU usage does not seem normal / remains low instead of being properly utilized

Additional note:

This issue appears to have started only after installing FC 26 through the EA app. Before that, FC 25 on Steam was working fine on the same machine.

I would appreciate your help in identifying the cause of this issue.

Please let me know:

- whether this could be related to EA app installation, game configuration, anti-cheat, cache, or driver interaction

- whether there are any known issues causing low GPU usage and lag on laptops like Dell G15 5510

- what exact troubleshooting steps you recommend next
