Problem with the online modes

I use a laptop with nvidia gtx 1650 4gb graphics card and when I play fc 26 on offline mode, whether low or medium settings on 1080p, i get good FPS above 60 with both and about 40-50 on high settings but when I go online and play any online mode at low graphics on any resolution, I get so much lag when I’m playing against Ai (squad battles) and when I play rivals, usually getting an average of 40ms ping, the input delay is about 7 secs after I register a command on my controller yet I experience little or no lag in the gameplay, everything looks fine but there is a lot of input delay. This doesn’t happen on other games just to be clear.
