Rush changes controller settings

When I join a match of rush my conroller changes to only be keyboard (playing on pc with xbox controller) .
As soon as I leave the match my controller works in the menus again and when I exit ultimate team on  the news page my prefered controller has changed to Keyboard.  Even more annoying is the fact that when you click the change settings button that show up, there is actually no place to change youre prefered method. Only way i found is to play a kick off game, wich I dont want to do... I hope there is a better way
