Short bench bug in EA FC 26 (PS5)

I’d like to report an issue that’s been going on for a while, despite my attempts to restart the career from scratch by downloading squad updates, using the current squads or the initial ones. I’m referring to the bench, which shows 7 substitutes available during a match instead of 9, as it should be. I’ve been playing the career with the Dons team in the English fourth tier, but, as I said, I’ve been trying for a while now to get the 9-player bench back, but I can’t manage it. I’d like to know whether this is down to a bug or a setting that might be resolved by changing it at the start of the career.
