As a long-term player and a Petroleum Engineer who understands the value of optimization and precision, I am writing to express my deep professional disappointment regarding the current state of FC 26 following the latest Title Update.
1. The "Nokia Lesson" & Market Arrogance:
I would like to remind your leadership team of the Nokia case. Once an untouchable titan, they fell because they ignored user feedback and failed to adapt to real quality demands. You are repeating this history. By monopolizing the market after the decline of Konami’s PES, you seem to have forgotten that arrogance precedes the fall. Without a soul in the gameplay, your franchise is becoming a "digital sticker collection" rather than a football simulation.
2. Breaking the Physics of Gameplay:
Since the last update, the game has become unplayable. Despite my stable connection (42ms Ping, 0% Packet Loss), I am experiencing:
- Input Misalignment: Analog directional input is frequently ignored or misinterpreted by the engine.
- Animation Lock: Players feel "muddy," and the delay between a command and its execution is unacceptable for a competitive title.
3. Realism vs. Forced Integration:
From a gameplay mechanics perspective, the current integration of mixed-gender squads in Ultimate Team has compromised the physical integrity of the simulation. It is scientifically immersion-breaking to see a female player out-muscling a defender like Van Dijk in a high-impact collision. To preserve the competitive "Esports" feel, I strongly suggest:
- Separating Ultimate Team modes: A dedicated Men’s UT and a dedicated Women’s UT. This respects the distinct nature of both sports and restores the logical physics of the game.
4. The Devaluation of Rewards:
The shift from classic high-value packs (Jumbo Rare Player, Ultimate, Prime Gold) to the new "+80/81/83" bundles has stripped the game of its rewarding feeling. You are giving players less for their time and effort, which is a failing business model for long-term engagement.
Conclusion:
Every update is making the game worse than the previous one. We don't want more "store packs"; we want a responsive, logical, and rewarding game. Don't wait until a new competitor rises to realize you've lost your core community.
