suddenly higher ping and getting matched with players in other regions?

After some update or maintenance recently it seems something is wrong with the matchmaking logic, I am in Sweden on PC with crossplay enabled and I am constantly being matched with players from North Africa and South/North America as well, 

it happens in every mode except fut rivals solo and fut champions solo because there you can select the server on the kit select screen before match (since you can back out if the ping is too high)

in all other modes where you can't select server manually i'm constantly being matched with people from other regions than my own which is North Europe, no other online game behaves like this and I have to constantly quit games because of how heavy and unplayable it is, 

I'm getting matched with players from Morocco, USA, Mexico, Tunisia, Egypt which makes no sense at all since I am in Sweden, 

also , when I check resource monitor in Windows while starting the game, it seems to connect me to ec2-18-97-200-115.eu-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com ,  

this seems to be an amazon AWS Ireland server, shouldn't I be connecting to eu-north1 which is Stockholm in my country? on the Stockholm server I have like 9-10 ms but on the Irish one I have around 40 ms which is a BIG difference in this game, 

that AWS stuff maybe is irrelevant and in any case, something is seriously wrong with matchmaking on at least my account,  I play many other online games and there I only play against other Europeans and latency is never an issue.. being forced to play against people from other regions half across the world is unplayable,

is there any chance you guys can look into the matchmaking logic in the following modes:

FUT Ultimate team Rush

Clubs Rush

Clubs dropin

Seasons 

Coop Seasons

specifically why Swedish/North european players are not being matched with ONLY other european players in every online game mode?

in Clubs league matches and FUT rivals/champions you can either select server manually or back out on the kit select screen until you get good latency, so there the problem is not as big as in the other modes where you have no control over what server you play on or where the opponents are from...

you can check my account to see I have every fifa/FC played on my account since over 10 years ago so I feel I am not making things up here and there is really something wrong!
