Switch - FC26 funds on wrong account

I purchased FC26 but had funds on my account rather than child. I have since sorted the issue out with Nintendo, but my kids thought there was a reward for pre-ordering before Aug2025 (which I did), how can I ensure the reward is added to their game? Which I suspect won’t currently be honoured due to Nintendo refunding me and making mr purchase again.
