Trying to play Live Events Co-Op is a nightmare

Whenever me and my friend try to play live events together we got a disconnection. Every single time. We have tried everything on our side. Playing with both accounts as the one hosting the game, using only one tactic with our squads, deleting all custom tactics, updating squads in menus, everything you can find in these forums and NOTHING WORKS! We closed game, restarted console (PS5), rebooted internet connection... Nothing works

We only played (and win) the first match of the Toty Event 1, tried to play 32!!!!! Games and all got disconnected... Some at the 20 seconds mark, some at 1.04 exactly, some after a corner and even a couple in the second half... 

Played one game of Toty Event 2 and worked, after there were 8 games in a row with some kind of disconnection and it just sucks, we can't play together like this

We don't have ANY issue in Rivals... It works perfectly, the Live Events are broken for us... Even playing solo, 1/4 get a random disconnection

So, what can we do to try to enjoy the game together without these frustrations?

We had similar issues in fc25 but it got fixed (after several months of being broken)...

    friend and I have the same problem and it is frustrating just difference is that he's on PS and me PC also yeah sometimes happens in rivals too

    In our case we are both on PS5 and already tried with cross play on and off with same results, cannot play a single game in any live event in the past week

    yesterday we gave up after so many disconnections and we didn't finish the event

    Been having the exact same issues on pc since release, my connection has no issues nor is the game showing that i had issues on my side. it just disconnects and throws me out.  Sometimes restarting works but never the first game on.

    This has been an issue for months, weirdly no comments on it or potential fixes. "deleting tactics" or starting the event through non recommended tab has no effect either.

    I'm glad to hear (well, actually it sucks) that we are not the only ones with this issue... It seems the Live events hace some kind of issues, probably server issues, when communicating with our accounts that creates these disconnections... Because it happens playing solo too, but it happens almost all the time playing co op...

    If they push more the co op they would eventually realize that you are going to have more people playing and enjoying this game.. at least in my opinion... 

    Hopefully we get at least one comment from someone from EA about this? This 26 version is one of the more unstable.. and at this rate they are going to fix it when 27 appears and every issue will probably reset...

    We tried to play the Live Event 4 and got 3 straight games until another one got disconnected... Then we tried for 10 games in a row and all we got were disconnections...

    Seems like once each of these live events breaks, we can't play together again... We will try this theory on the Live Event 5

    5 games were started in the Live Event 5 and all got disconnected 

    There is no fun anymore in this game
