Unfair champs forfeit

Hoping a “community manager” can help me with this. 

I was playing a fut champs game when my opponent paused the game and sent me a message. I was just sitting in the pause screen, I had already pressed continue and was waiting for him to do the same to keep playing, or quit out since I was winning like 5-2 or something. I then had the “you are inactive” thing pop up on my screen, before getting a message saying “you have forfeited the game due to inactivity. You must control your players in the game to avoid this penalty in the future.” And then I was given a loss. I cannot attach the clip I took after it happened, but I have attached an individual screenshot of said message, as well as the message that came up right after that one. WTF EA, how do I get a loss for simply waiting for my opponent to unpause? Someone please help me. I want my win back and this loss of my record.
