Unfair Match Forfeits Caused by Micro Connection Drops
I am requesting a technical review of repeated disconnections and automatic match forfeits in EA FC 26. I am playing on a PlayStation 5 Pro with a 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection using Türk Telekom in Turkey. Although my connection is stable, the game treats extremely short 1–2 second micro interruptions as a full disconnect and instantly counts the match as a loss. According to your official Connection Reports, my ping is around 40–55 ms, jitter sometimes 5–10 ms, and packet loss around 0.20% to 0.40% in short bursts. These values do not indicate a full outage. The issue happens only in EA FC 26; other online games on the same network tolerate these micro drops without forcing a disconnection. The current disconnection tolerance in EA FC 26 appears excessively strict and causes unfair competitive losses in modes like Champions and Rivals. I request that the network and development team review the existing tolerance thresholds and improve the game’s ability to handle brief instability. I also request confirmation that my account will not be penalized for involuntary disconnections. I can provide logs or additional technical information if necessary.
