I fixed my unstable connection/high MS Ping by switching to a wired/ethernet connection. Sometimes these are still issues, but it's gotten much better. I'm sure the mods will ask you to screenshot your "EA Connection Quality Report" before telling you the issue is somehow on your end or with your ISP.
