Winning Match Counted as 3–0 Loss (Disconnect Issue)
Hello,
I would like to report a serious issue I have experienced multiple times in EA FC 26 – Winter Wildcards Tournament, which I strongly believe is related to a disconnect exploit.
Incident details:
- On two different days, I won my matches fairly (first match, then again today).
- In both cases, the match was played without any connection issues for the full 90 minutes.
- I was winning the match (first incident: clear win, second incident: 3–1).
- After the final whistle, no victory screen appeared.
- Instead, I received an error message saying there was a problem with EA servers / connection.
- Immediately after that, I was disconnected and counted as a 3–0 loss.
Additional suspicious detail:
- In the first incident, the opponent appeared as two players with identical usernames, which is clearly abnormal.
- In the second incident, the opponent was solo, but the exact same issue happened again.
This pattern clearly indicates that:
- This is not a connection issue on my side
- The disconnect happens only after I win
- It appears to be a match result manipulation / disconnect exploit, not random server instability
As a result, I lost tournament progress unfairly, despite winning the matches legitimately.
I am requesting:
- This issue to be investigated properly
- Action against players abusing this exploit
- A solution or compensation for players who are unfairly counted as losses due to this problem
This seriously affects competitive integrity and makes limited-time tournaments extremely frustrating to play.
