I started to a new career mode and was trying out some of the new/newer features and made a checkpoint. After I did that, my game started to act uo so I reset it. After resetting the game, it says "You have more than one storage device with a FC 26 profile. Please select a storage device to load from." Now this made me think it was downloaded on both my external and internal, nope. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nope. I tried clearing my profile data from the game in the saved data, nope. I tried deleting that same data and not allowing it to resync, still nothing working. This is extremely frustrating and need to get fixed ASAP. $70 usd for this is crazy.

Hello, I am experiencing the error "You have more than one storage device with a FC 26 profile. Please select a storage device to load from." on my Nintendo Switch 2.
I dont have a microSD card and already restarted the console, I remove the game card and put it back again, reinstalling the game, disabling cloud sync, and testing a new user profile — it works that way but i want it working on my main account/main user profile.
The issue prevents me from loading my game and i have a save file i dont want to loose; when I press A, it never advances. Please advise on how to resolve this issue or release a patch/update to fix it. - brigdavinci4 months agoSeasoned Novice

GUYS I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BUT I SOLVED IT.
DO NOT MAKE A "CHECKPOINT" SAVE.
NEVER HAD THE SAME PROBLEM SINCE I DID THAT.

yep same issue for me. This is what I’ve tried below and it’s definitely a corrupted file. I hear they’ve had same issues in last 3 games and have eventually patched the bug/problem after weeks/months. It’s extremely annoying and a waste of my money that I now have to wait probably 2 months for this issue to be resolved, and it may not be resolved! I refuse to start a new career mode incase it happens again and I have my save file waiting to be reloaded once patch has and should be fixed!
Platform: PS5Issue: “You have more than one storage device with a FC 26 profile. Please select a storage device to load from.” Only “OK” shows, no options.
Save details: 132.2 MB career file, last updated 12 Oct 2025 @ 22:07.
What I tried: rebuilt database, deleted/reinstalled, cloud upload + redownload, offline mode, 2-controller workaround — still stuck.
Please attach my case to this investigation
