You have more than one storage device with a fc 26 profile

Yes but that way you lose your career progress and that mode is completely out of order, I've restarted 4 times and every time I get the same error and that's it. Disaster

This happened in eafc 25 also, it happens if you use ‘Checkpoints’ save method, and ‘Main slot’ for same career.

I have the same problem on my ps5. Apparently it's the same bug from last year, it took them 2 months to fix it. I mean, terrible, I started 4 careers and every time the PS shuts down it gives me that error and that's it, you have to delete the saves from the disk and start again but it's better not to start the career because you'll have a nervous breakdown

Same here we are waiting ea. already several reports and that on pc Xbox and ps5 please fix it. We want to play career mode without having to reset our career.

I'm now getting this too - same exact issue on PS5 from using checkpoints for career mode - crazy that using a feature in the game breaks it so badly you can't even start it up...

Don’t worry as it launched yesterday people will be reporting on it heavily. Just vote and comment on those reports and they will fix. If many people report they should be able to fix it quickly as it is the same problem as fc25 and they have already solved it last year. They just reused they same broken script so it is obvious to have same issues as in fc25…

Same Here. This is fraud: we paid for something we cannot use; and there is intent: same thing as  last year. So unless is this is resolved very swiftly, without loss of our files, I suggest we file criminal charges and lots of compensation.

The game is so tailored towards online play that offline modes are an afterthought. I love getting stuck into a career mode, the challenge of taking minnows up through the leagues and watching young players grow towards reaching their potential. I was midway through my first season when this error occurred, have now had to delete all my data so as to play any mode whatsoever.

 Sort it out EA and quick!!
