Can I ask why are ratings different to previous games

Ea, all I want to see is ratings actually mean ratings. A 82 rated player can be better than a 95 rated player it just makes no sence to me. Passing is still horrendous I play from the back and I point my stick to the left but no it goes straight to my opponent for an easy tap in. Fix this game please
