Can't access the transfer market because EA is pulling daylight robbery
Hey guys, I don't know how many of you will ever have this issue but I think it's an issue that shouldn't exist in the first place.
A bit of background on me: I have loved EA's football games, playing during the FIFA era with my last games being 22 and 23 respectively, but I took a break during the first two FC games as I was caught up in studies and all. During my time playing these games, I was able to develop amazing Ultimate Teams and enjoy the game quite a lot, even though I was not able to buy PS+ (This is about to become a big issue), and this is because I was able to use the Transfer Market easily. I finished both games with teams that I believe were a 98 and 97 rated overall.
Here is the main problem now. I don't have PS+ on my PlayStation, which would be fine if the game would let me just play squad battles and give me a full experience without playing online like in Rivals and Rush. But instead, NOOOO, they said that I must play 3 games of Rush to finish the "Venturing Out" objective group just to use the Transfer Market. Note that I have never needed PS+ to use the Transfer Market before, so EA basically just said "Ahh so we didn't tell you, but to use one of the most basic features in the game, you need to shell out more money to Sony/Microsoft/Whoever makes your console", which is NEVER TOLD TO YOU. Sure they say that you need it to play online game modes like Rivals, but never that it's a LITERAL NECESSITY to use the Transfer Market of all things. This is really dumb, because I never needed it in the games I mentioned above, and so I went in under the same assumptions being true. Has anyone else has this stupid problem of daylight robbery from EA?
I have been in two separate chats with their support team and gotten nowhere. The first guy said "Yeah just play a few games a day then check the Companion App" to no avail, and the second one just went "Lol yeah you need Rush, L". So they've been useless. I can't believe I'm having to complain and seek guidance on something so simple and fundamental to the game.
