Coin Distribution
Hello everyone,
I am writing this post to request assistance from a Community Manager regarding a complex situation with my EA Account. I have been a loyal member of the EA Sports community since 2019, with nearly 200 hours of gameplay in the current FC title.
Recently, my account was banned from the Transfer Market for "coin distribution." However, I have objective evidence that this was the result of a severe security breach that occurred while my account was not under my control.
Chronology of the Incident:
On Monday, I received several security alerts that I did not authorize:
- Unauthorized Access: My Login Verification (2FA) was turned OFF by an external party.
- Security Changes: My account password was changed immediately after the 2FA was disabled.
- External Context: My workplace recently suffered a documented cyberattack, which unfortunately led to the compromise of my personal credentials.
Confirmed Security Breach:
I have already contacted EA Help via chat on four different occasions. I would like to highlight that an EA Support Agent has already officially confirmed (in Case #[Número]) that there were "suspicious activities" and unrecognized logins from unknown IPs on my account during the period in question.
The Injustice of the Ban:
During the time I was locked out of my account, I even discovered my account details being offered for sale on external third-party platforms. It is clear that the "coin distribution" detected by the automated systems was performed by the intruder who hijacked my account to use it as a "mule" for illegal activities.
My Request:
I am a victim of a hijack, not a rule-breaker. I have invested 100€ in the Ultimate Edition and hundreds of hours into building my team fairly. I kindly request a Senior Manual Review of my login history and IP logs from Monday. The discrepancy between my usual IP in Portugal and the intruder's IP will clearly show that I am not responsible for the actions that led to this ban.
I am more than willing to provide all screenshots of the security emails and the chat transcripts where the security breach was acknowledged.
