disconnection bug

i started a game of rivals, soon as it loaded the disconnection warning popped up and stayed there the whole game i played it but lost because alls i could see was a box so i lost my streak, i reloaded the ps5 and started again and the same thing keeps happening

    Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. Let's see if a power cycle of your equipment will help with this. Please follow these steps:

    1. Unplug your modem/router for 2 minutes
    2. Hard restart your console by holding down the power button until it turns off
    3. Power it all up and try playing again

  • I literally can`t finish one single game in rush. Regardless of how exactly I am connected - through a router or an Internet cable directly to the PC - there are still the same disconnections during the match. And yes, of course, I unplugged the router and my fiber optic terminal too, and rebooted the PC, and rebooted the router, and rebooted the network adapter.

    Hey, Dancing_Ukr​. That's frustrating for sure. I'd like you to run the Connection Quality Report and get me a screenshot of the overall score. That will help determine the next steps. Unfortunately, I'm about to head out for the weekend. So, we'll have to pick this up again on Monday. You should also try the connection troubleshooting steps here. If that doesn't help, contact your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues. Thanks!

     

  • EA_Aljo​ Connection quality report feature doesn`t work for me since the start of fc 26. I have fiber 1gbps connection. I also cleared network sync files and repaired game files after it. Doesn`t work at all.  

    According to multiple reports, after the April 2026 update many players started experiencing constant disconnections in EA Sports FC 26, especially in modes like Rivals, Champions, and Clubs. These issues appear to be caused by unstable routing to EA servers following recent maintenance, rather than problems with users’ internet connections.

    There are already threads on EA forums where players with excellent connections report the same issue — constant disconnects both in matches and even in menus.

    Please investigate and fix this properly as soone as possible as I`m losing my progress.

    We are always monitoring our servers for any issues. We're not aware of any at the moment that would cause you to not be able to run the CQR or continually lag/disconnect. Did you speak with your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues?

    no this was fine as i say the issue was a disconnection warning that would not come of the screen, which interrupted game play as i couldn’t see half of the screen it caused me to loose my streak and then when i was reloading and into another game the same thing would happen

    Do you still have that message on screen or did it eventually go away? Unfortunately, we're not able to do anything about that match.

  • it has gone now it done it about 3-4 more times so i didn’t go on for about 12-14 hours and when i came back on it had gone

    Glad to hear it's gone now. If it happens again, try completely closing FC 26 and power cycle the device you play on. Let us know if you continue to have trouble with this or anything else. Thanks!
