Division Rivals Issue

Is anyone else suffering from an issue when they first launch the game and try to join a rivals lobby it says something along the lines of 'cannot connect to FUT', and then when they try again the screen reads 'currently there is no active division rivals competition' and the rivals button is unclickable?
