EA this needs addressing. Is the clicking sound during games a glitch or hack?

I've seen others say that the menu clicking sound during games is when people are hacking/cheating during the game. If it is though, then its not just on pc. Cos the opponent I just played, it was making the menu click sound during the whole game and they were a console player.

Id like to know if it is just a game glitch or if it's cheating because it seems to happen in a lot of games. 

EA need to reply or make a statement because I know many on here have said they are reporting people as cheaters when they are hearing that sound during games. So if it's a glitch people will be getting reported unfailry.
