Error with the "Giant" evolution from the paid pack

I bought a pack with this evolution, found it in the rewards, applied it to the player, and that was it. Nothing happened, the bonuses weren't applied to the player's development list, and it's not there either. The player card is the same in my club. If anything, I applied the development to the player card of Ward Prowse from the world tour.
