PS5 ultimate team unable to connect

Hello all,

does anyone have problem with connecting to ultimate team. Mine freezes on promo screen and says unable to connect.

and when it connects it is blank menus. 
i tried reinstalling, deleting squad, changing ethernet to WiFi and it is still the same. 
any advice woukd be appreciated. I am in North America. This problem started 3 weeks ago and has been like this.
