Family Issue: Two FUT Accounts Can’t Use Their Own Squads

I’m raising this as a family / household issue, not a gameplay exploit or competitive complaint.

In our home, my son and I both love football and playing EA SPORTS FC. We each have:

  • Our own EA accounts
  • Our own FUT clubs that we’ve spent time building
  • Active console subscriptions
  • One shared console, like most families

We were genuinely excited to play Ultimate Team together, only to discover that we cannot use our own FUT squads on the same console, even in local or friendly matches.

This was honestly really disappointing. We’ve both invested hours building teams we’re proud of, and instead of enjoying that together, we’re forced to take turns or share one squad. For a game that promotes connection and community, this feels unfair and not designed with families in mind.

We’re not asking for shortcuts, shared progression, or competitive advantages — just the simple ability for a parent and child to play together using their own FUT squads on one console.

This would mean a lot to families like ours and would turn a frustrating limitation into a genuinely positive experience.

If you have separate PSN/Xbox accounts, this shouldn’t be an issue?

It makes perfect sense that only one FUT account can be used per profile, but if you and your son have a separate console profile linked to your EA accounts, I didn’t realise you were still unable to both use FUT?
