Getting a loss after beating someone

Has anyone else played someone and beat them only for the ref to blow up and you get the ‘ea servers are unable to process’ message only to be sent back to the main menu and once back on UT you get the disconnection warning?

3rd time it’s happened to me now

This is never fun to experience doylebladd.

The good news is that in most cases, it is an easy enough fix as the issue is connection-based.

I don’t think it a connection issue as I have a wired connection and my ping is always very good and I know for a fact it was good in that last game it happened, I did see somewhere on Reddit that there’s a way some people can avoid a loss by turning of WiFi as the ref blows but I’ve always doubted there’s a way to cheat the system.
but I will try the troubleshooting later on, thanks for the reply.

It's not about the connection type doylebladd, you can still be online when an issue like this occurs.

Bandwith is something that you need to consider so if other devices are using the same network, issues can occur.
