I didn't get to choose between the player or the packs on level 40

When reaching level 40 I claim my rewards because I wanted the Tomori card to put into my team. Upon claiming the rewards I didn't get to choose between either of the 2 players or packs, it just gave...

See I thought I didn’t pay attention and just carried on tapping the A button, so maybe I’m the same. A yes or no to confirm your pick would be ideal.
