Please EA…..

Dear EA, can we please play just ONE normal match?

I'm not asking to win every game.

I'm not asking for easy opponents.

I'm not asking for perfect gameplay.

I'm simply asking for one match where both players are allowed to play football.

One match where my players respond to the buttons I press.

One match where a simple 5-meter pass doesn't suddenly become a rocket to the wrong player.

One match where defenders don't randomly freeze while an attacker casually walks through.

One match where my striker doesn't suddenly forget how to shoot, even when standing in front of an open goal.

One match where players don't stop their runs for no apparent reason.

One match where first touches remain first touches instead of becoming accidental through balls.

One match where tackling actually tackles.

One match where player switching selects the player closest to the ball instead of someone investigating the scenery.

One match where acceleration, agility, and reactions remain consistent from kick-off to the final whistle.

One match where the game doesn't feel completely different from minute to minute.

Football is already exciting when two players compete fairly.

The tension comes from skill, decision-making, mistakes, and creativity.

It doesn't need invisible momentum swings.

It doesn't need players transforming from world-class athletes into shopping carts halfway through the game.

It doesn't need matches where suddenly every shot misses, every pass is underhit, every bounce goes the same way, and even scoring into an empty net feels like a challenge.

Please give us more matches where we lose because our opponent was better.

And where we win because we played better.

Not matches where both players spend 90 minutes wondering what on earth happened to their team.

We don't need perfection.

We just want consistency.

We just want control.

We just want football.
