Pulled gold Messi from a pack

No it’s not out of date , I’ve just been told Messi’s promo card isn’t in packs as team 2 is out so his gold card isn’t now back in packs , this was sent to me by EA ! I had packed him the day after his promo was no longer in packs and I thought it still was

Good news everyone, I have the official response 

Regular player cards being removed from packs due to a promo being released ended with FIFA 23

This was discontinued with FC Sports 24 and now both regular and promo cards are found in packs during a promo and the regular card is not "retired" for the very reason you mentioned, to stop people scalping players for them with increased cost.

That’s always been the case … if a special card is available there normal card isn’t in packs !

I’m back playing after 6 years away and back then, if a card was in a promo his gold card would rise in price because it was no longer in packs, just his promo version.

Why would you think that?

They don't remove the normal card just because a special edition version is available
