Refund request limbo

It must be nice to be in the virtual currency business. Flawed system mistakenly took my in game coins away. TOS team (or rather an automated appeal process) keeps telling me I did something wrong. EA Help chat keeps telling me I gave to ask Nintendo for refund. Nintendo of course did nothing wrong and will not compensate me for EA's mess. So there is no way to get refund for FC points even if EA devalues them with coin wipe and puts you running between an automated appeal loop and a chat person who refers you away and towards innocent Nintendo instead.

Of course, it will work. I will eventually give up, as I have better things to do with my life than beating my head against your brick wall for all eternity. However, it would be nice to achieve one or more of the following on the way:

-Get economic compensation in the form of a refund of what I put into the game.

-Improve the system for the future to avoid the same error happening again.

    and most importantly:

-An admission from EA that your system might not be flawless. Both as a matter of principle I refuse to accept your false accusations, and if you keep handling appeals the same way you will never improve anything.

EA_Darko Yeah, you would think so. However, as I know I did not buy coins, sell coins or transfer coins (you won't even tell me which of these I am accused of, how nice of you). A functional appeal process would be geared towards identifying what went wrong in the automated process, and improve the flawed system. The appeal process I am in now seems geared towards dragging out the time until I give up.

If our TOS team has denied your appeals kongalrex then it would mean that they found evidence to support the action.

I was suggesting that you appeal again if you believe a mistake was made.

  • EA_Darko Appealing to TOS team only results in getting a new exact copy of the last email response, not replying to what I write. I have already appealed several times, so you are either new at EA, or you are lying.

I have also spoken with the retailer. They of course won't compensate me for EA's mess. They delivered the FC points without error. It is EA who devalued these with an incorrect coin wipe. So EA (you) again refers me to the retailer who did nothing wrong, when the fault lies solely with EA and your systems.

Hey kongalrex if you have a strike on your account that resulted in a coin wipe then there would be nothing that our live support team can do to assist you.

The good news is that if you think a mistake was made, then you can appeal with our TOS team here

The team will review all appeals.

If looking for a refund, then you will need to speak with the retailer. Our teams have no overview of your purchases made through third-party retailers.
