EA said in latest update that more adjustment will be made to the offline AI to make matches more fun and more like playing vs a human when playing the higher levels. This update should come in December.
I feel they maybe changed something after I made this post, suddenly the AI was playing more like pre-patch again, much less enjoyable when I played 5-10 games this morning, like pulling teeth again, even against bronze squads.
