Squad Battles AI

The update to career mode ai has completely broken and ruined squad battles.

Might work on authentic but clearly doesn't on competitive, this must not have been tested and if it was then please fire those testers, they are clueless.

Since I hate the online gameplay this year I decided to just build my evo team and chill, casually, in squad battles but that is beyond a joke now.

A silver 71 rated, 3 chem team just passed the ball around like prime Barcelona. They had 70% possession and did not attack once. Every time i get a player within 5 feet of their player with the ball they pass sideways or back.

At 2-0 down they were passing on halfway line and in their final third.

You spend most of these squad battles games chasing shadows and waiting for them to make a mistake, not a single moment of enjoyment left in the one mode I could play casually and enjoy.

Are you going to change squad battles ai back to how it was or change it back in some way? I'm going to need an answer on this @EA anyone because if you are then I'll keep playing but if not please at least say so on this post so I can move to a different game.

Thats not the problem. I play on legendary and they just waste time. Dont even try to score, just keep passing back to goalkeeper and back to defender and back to goalkeeper and back to defender.

I have the total opposite, I play on legendary and they never attack, I spend the entire match just chasing there back 4 and backpasses down, I usually end up getting my 4/5 goals in the end but the entire match is litterly just me trying to tackle there back 4 while they pass it around or walk to there own corner flag, its so boring.
It's like playing rivals in the 85th min and your opp is time wasting, my AI do that for the whole 90mins even when im 3-4 goals up
I would love for the AI to actually try and "win" the game and go for goals, would be so much more fun even if I did concede some goals, least it would be interesting and I would have to do some defending and have chances to counter etc

I'm struggling this week too. I haven't been beating legendary 5-0 before this week though, but usually I'm keeping clean sheets, this week, I've been even losing a couple of games.

I usually get Elite 1 playing world class/legendary winning 5-0 every game without much struggle, but this week I seem to be conceding 2-3 goals a game and sometimes even struggling to score 5. Using the exact same team as past weeks.
Might just be me but wanted to see if anyone feels the same
