Hello there friend I am sorry to hear that you are going through this frustrating and unfair punitive action against you, I myself and many others find ourselves in a similar predicament. You can appeal your ban but in my personal experience the appeals systems will get you nowhere.
What I would recommend that you do is (depending on where you live I am in the U.K. other countries might have different rules, laws and consumer rights so it’s worth checking)
If you haven’t requested your data yet I encourage you to do so.
Go on that link and “Request my ea data”
https://help.ea.com/da/customer-care/
Ask them for a Data Subject Access Request, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Request all the data that has been used for the ban and for rejecting your appeals.
Looking at the data protection act it mentions:
You also have rights when an organisation is using your personal data for:
- automated decision-making processes (without human involvement)
I think this applies to us as their automated ban system is doing exactly this
Here’s more interesting information we can use:
AI and automated decisions: If you’re concerned about how AI or algorithms have been used to make decisions about you, you have the right to request meaningful information about the logic involved.
You can also write a formal letter of complaint and send it to EA Headquarters where you live, use a recorded delivery method that requires a signature. Address it to their legal team.
If you have done nothing wrong you have consumer rights, in my honest opinion they make it extremely complicated and frustrating so that we just give up.
There is another thread in the ultimate team section titled transfer market ban / U.K. rights I would recommend having a look at it for more information.
For guidance on writing a letter of complaint you can do a search for something like: legal services ombudsman formal letter of complaint template
All the best to you I hope things are resolved in a just manner in your favour
