Why does 'Composure' exist?

It must be the single dumbest stat to exist in the entire game. It doesn't even make sense.

So what because my player has 75 composure suddenly their IQ drops to 60 in game when someone stands near them? Suddenly they can't react or dribble the ball and move like they're stuck in mud? What is the stat even compared to, it's not like theirs an intimidation stat players have that it's measured against to determine if a player keeps composure or not. It's actually ridiculous.

I swear it's the reason gameplay is so bad. It determines everything in game in terms of how well your player plays. It needs to be taken out. There's no added benefit to it, your player would need 100 composure simply to play to their in game stats, not even exceed those stats, simply to play to them, like what bro?

Everyone's experienced bad gameplay, this is just additive to that. Get rid of it.
