Stuck in the mud

Yet again asking the same question as the previous years but never get an answer. Could someone at ea please explain to me how some days my players  team play perfectly fine and then some days they are literally stuck in the mud, so slow, take extra touches etc and it’s impossible to play and really not remotely enjoyable.

its nothing to do with my internet, I have the fastest internet connection you can get and constantly run speed tests, every other game I play is perfectly fine and every other device I use works perfectly fine.

i have the same issue every year.I buy 3 games from ea a year, this, madden and college football. Madden this year has been terrible as well. Unless someone can give me a legit reason or solution as to why this happens I won’t be buying another game from this company.

  • Is it like this?

  • It feels like EA puts their thumb on the scale. I lost 3 games in a row where it felt like my players were running in ankle-deep water. The passing was terrible. If I scored early, my players suddenly dropped 20 IQ points until my opponent scored 2-3 unanswered goals.

The next match was incredibly easy. It felt like I was playing mystery ball (speed/dribbling boost). My opponent, however, got hit with the same handicaps mentioned above. He had clear chance to make it 1-1. Instead he hit the post and the game went 4-0 in my favor before he quit.

It feels like EA have mistakenly equated winning = fun and losing = not fun, which is why they are manipulating the gameplay to keep players from feeling discouraged and quitting. That is not the case at all. Some of my most enjoyable games have been the ones where I fought back from 0-4 before eventually losing 3-5.

I can't speak to the in game cheating. I probably wouldn't recognize it. The majority of cheating I've experienced is players quitting immediately after scoring to secure a win. EA doesn't seem to have a solution for that.

  • I take it ea don’t respond unless it’s someone blowing smoke about them?!

EA "Community Managers" leave the community whenever someone is highlighting the problem of cheaters.

Since Jan 4th they don't even look at cheater reports anymore.

I just played a Champions game which started quite well, I made it even 4-4 when the other guy made a pause. As soon as we started again, I heard the familiar "Click" sound from my controller indicating that he had put on his cheating script. This makes my players moving "like in mud" and gives his players full speed. He got two penalties and made goals on both even though my goalie went the right way on both.

EA couldn't care less about you, about me or everybody here who wants to pay fairly. What they fail to understand is that we pay their salaries.

By stopping to buy their games they will enter FAFO mode.
