Why does every UT game need to be high scoring.

I don't know how the balance hasn't been got right yet every game ends with about 8-10 goals between  us. I'm no elite player but I've played every fifa since the start lol.

Until fc26 i was never conceding or having to score so many goals to win a game. need to leave the attackers as they are and slightly improve the defence.

Defending and tackling is part of football i don't know why we would want unrealistic constant high scoring games. Even when you win the games are stressful.

They say in real football scoring is the hardest part but not on fc26.

It also feels like every time you score, the next shot the opponent has regardless of difficulty of it seems to result in a goal.

When people are unhappy but there’s only one soccer simulation available to play, EA corner the market. There’s 0 motivation for them to make things more enjoyable or level the playing field. Keeping us wondering what will make gameplay work is exactly what keeps the money machine churning for buying packs.
if you could actually change your style of gameplay and drastically increase your likelihood of getting better rewards in any mode, I’d love to see proof. The  only thing proven to make anything better in the win column is buy better players or abuse whatever the meta is/invest a ton of hours in the game.

Unfortunately it is, the loudest people you will find are the ones that aren't enjoying the game. My personal experience is that when people are happy with the game they don't feel a need to do feedback, or come on forums and make posts.

When people are unhappy with the game they are more likely to do such things, which leads to EA seeing the problem, but it doesn't give them a good idea of where the balance is. Then after they make a change the people who are affected by it become unhappy and the cycle repeats.

it really shouldn't be that hard to find a balance. Guess people don't want a game that simulates the actual game of football. They want football with basketball score lines.

To be honest, I'm pretty sure that EA have been led to believe that goals = fun. Personally, I have always preferred the titles where scoring is a bit more challenging, but most people apparently don't want that.

Goalkeepers have also become irrelevant in the game as people get upset when they are actually able to make saves.

All in all it has led to the game we have now. Most people will throw a hissy fit if AI defending is buffed anymore than it is, and they will also complain if there defence does nothing. It's really a lose lose for EA.
