Authentic Gameplay & Tedious Issues
Authentic this year makes me want to pull my hair out, I’m constantly chasing the game, when I get the ball I can’t create anything, even though I don’t have the ball I’m not conceding, every game is 2/3 shots each, I lose possession 45/55, I either win 1-0 with a bit of luck or lose 1-0 after the CPU decides to string 2/3 quick passes together or a cross followed by a CPU goal with their first chance of the game in the 83rd minute.
Before sliders are suggested just know I can’t be bothered. All the testing, the time, the annoyance when you realise they’re still terrible. Typically when you pay for something you expect it to be completed.
I just want to open the game play a few games, score a couple goals, maybe a there’s a screamer in there, maybe a winger has taken on the full team and scored, but I’d also enjoy the reverse, I’d be buzzing to concede a 30 yarder at this point, instead I’m playing Man City chasing Elliot Anderson about for 80 minutes until he pings one randomly to Haaland and I lose.
As for the rest… I’ll just bullet point.
I’m sick of transfers getting hijacked, I get the principle but I’d like to sign my first choice occasionally rather than my 6th constantly.
The board. No I’m not going to play my 53 Ovr 16 year old RB in the Prem, but if you think that’s a sackable offense…
Can I just loan a player out, is that too much to ask. Preferably not to another polish team or MLS.
Dynamic Ovr makes no sense. Just keep it simple… hattrick = +1 ovr, no goals in 5 = -1 ovr.
Why has every players lung capacity expired for the entire month after one game.
Back to gameplay for a second. I expect my 90 pace winger to run straight past the 36 year old dying centre half thanks. Not caught up too!!
What have you done to corners? Literally sat shaking my head everytime. Free kicks as well, you mean just because my 75 rated free kick taker doesn’t have ‘deadball’ play style his best effort is chipping it 2mph to the keeper?
In general… why do I have to press every button on my controller to be able to dribble properly.
After one transfer window top teams have signed everyone 82+ovr in the world. Championship teams have 18 players including 5 RB’s and a starting GK who is not only South African but 35 and 63 ovr. Realistic signings for all teams please.

Anyway, rant over. Take it as you want. I’m not fiddling with sliders, it’s not the difficulty, it’s the lack of testing of the game, which is then passed on as a finished product.
Currently, I’d rather not play and watch the tele eating a packet of crisps, try forget about the money I’ve spent.
