Error saving changes to team sheet

When creating team sheets, I like to arrange my bench and reserve players in a specific order. For example, strikers first, then midfielders, defenders and goalkeepers. After spending time rearranging all of my players, I saved the team sheet only to go back to it later and find that the game has rearranged them into a completely different order. It is very frustrating and makes squad rotation difficult because my reserve players are all over the place. This never happened in previous years, so not sure why it is happening now, it takes the control away from the user.
