Title Update 1.1 Pitch Notes, Only Minimal Corrections to Manager Career

Announcement of major Title Update 1.1 with a release date of Tuesday, October 27th has been confirmed. For some reason, the Pitch Notes were made available earlier today, even though is dated for Monday, October 26th; typical EA Sports blunder.

Career

Team Management UI Improvements Overhauled the Team Management layout across multiple modes for cleaner navigation and better readability.

New Settings and Customization Introduced new settings to toggle or adjust the frequency of Unexpected Events and Press Conferences during Career Creation and within existing Career Saves.

Manager Career: Transfer and Negotiation Improvements Added distinct negotiation responses to clarify exactly why a club or player rejected your offer. Tuned Wages to account for performance bonuses, preventing players from demanding inflated base wages when bonuses are offered. Tuned Contracts so veteran players no longer disproportionately demand crucial squad roles.

General Career Changes Improved background contrast for green, grey, and red stat values in the Player Profile for better legibility. PlayStyles are now properly revealed for Youth Academy prospects discovered during Scouting Missions. Corrected Scout capacity calculations so the maximum number of simultaneously scouted players is determined by Experience rather than Judgement.

While these changes are welcomed by the Manager Career mode community and are needed to enhance gameplay experience, does not appear that any severe game breaking elements were addressed again. In total, five Title Updates and two or three Live Tuning updates since game Early Access release, and zero significant patches for game breaking aspects.

According to the Pitch Notes, none of the following was even considered for the patch update.

  1. The community wants patches for the incessant player transfer request submission problem. If the squad role, player stamina regeneration, and Dynamic OVR features require months to correct, we DEMAND a new toggle switch setting added to Manager Career mode setup menu for limiting player transfer requests. Propose four way toggle with Default, Realistic (no more than three per season), Limited (no more than one or two per season), and Disabled.
  2. While the Team Management UI was modified and corrected (should never have been released in the broken state, but that is another argument), nothing has been done to correct the reserve bench player reset when exiting the Team Management screen. According to sources, the only changes are to the background color and player attribute rating size elements, not the game destroying reset, causing users to have to reorder the bench players before every match.
  3. Nothing was addressed regarding player stamina regeneration between matches, and in numerous cases, players have less than sixty percent fitness after five days of rest.
  4. Dynamic OVR system is broken with players gaining four points or more attribute boosts in less than five matches, then demanding Crucial squad roles, or submitting transfer request. Conversely, players that are injured or sit on the bench have their attributes decrease by ten points and never regain, even after months have gone by.
  5. Youth Scouts still have problem where last scout report is blank, and are unable to recall or send scout out to another country or change instructions.
  6. Inability to resign youth players to contract extension and all scouted players leave after three years on free transfer.
  7. Players signed before or after transfer windows never or rarely join the club, even though budget funds are depleted after deals are secured.
  8. Clubs promoted into higher leagues or finish in European Competition positions in the table are not rewarded with increased transfer budgets.
  9. If user club excels and surpasses Board Objectives, the manager is sacked for not completing Crucial objectives.

The list of current game breaking Manager Career mode issues is expansive, and other contributors will probably add to this list. The main problem is that severe issues are not being addressed, with a number of them not even under investigation yet. Appears as though EA developers are merely patching the easiest and quickest problems first, then going back to adding Ultimate Team and The Grounds content; doing the bare minimum requirement, instead of taking responsibility for the other four million estimated customers that predominately engage in single player game modes.

  • Elevating this comment to the top of the forum as official EA Title Update 1.1 Patch Notes will be released in two hours. These notes posted above we acquired from German servers on Saturday, October 24th, and should be identical as that article was dated today, October 26th. Want to reiterate that zero severe gamebreaking elements in this update address core problems with half of user squad submitting transfer requests in the first four months of a new Manager Career mode save, and the reordering of reserve bench players in Team Management appears to be ignored as well, even though developers corrected other issues in the same part of the game.
