Fc 27 review

I have played FIFA/EA FC since FIFA 18, and I want to give some honest feedback about FC 27 Ultimate Team.

The biggest problem for me is the Power Curve. I understand that EA wants to control it, but I think it has been controlled too much. The result is that the game feels less exciting. Daily content, weekly updates and promos used to give me something to look forward to, but currently there are not enough meaningful upgrades or exciting cards.

SBCs and the Token system are another major issue. Some requirements feel unrealistic for normal players and can make it seem like spending a huge amount of FC Points is the only way to complete them. SBCs should provide realistic paths for players who mainly play the game.

Other things are also affecting the Power Curve and transfer market:

• Evolutions: Some promo cards can become less attractive when similar or better upgrades are possible through Evolutions.
• Guaranteed promo packs: Large amounts of promo cards entering the game through Store packs can quickly reduce their market value.
• Too many special cards: With more players, Icons and Heroes available, many cards quickly become irrelevant.
• Chemistry: Chemistry feels too easy now, and playing some players out of position does not always make a significant difference. This also reduces the uniqueness of Icons and Heroes.
• Very strong free cards early: Giving players extremely powerful cards in the first weeks makes Gold cards and early promos lose their value too quickly.

I don’t think the solution is simply to release fewer promos. The important thing is to manage the Power Curve better.

For example, some of the strongest players should not have extremely powerful versions available immediately. Keep Gold cards relevant for longer, then introduce stronger versions through later promos. This would make future content more exciting while still allowing the Power Curve to progress naturally.

FC 27 is still early in its cycle, so there is plenty of time to improve it.

I have played since FIFA 18, and I want to feel that excitement again when a new promo, SBC or weekly update arrives.

Please focus on making the Power Curve meaningful, balancing SBCs and Store content, and giving players more exciting reasons to play every week.
