Thanks for the response and may I say it's nice to have a grown up mature conversation with a representative about the issue.
I too have looked for work arounds and none exist for this issue.
I have deleted every formation, reset team sheets in online Seasons and nothing works. The substitutes and reserve players cannot be swapped around at all and saved.
You can change them around all day long BUT as soon as you leave the screen and it pretends to save when you go right back into it everything has been undone again and back to how it was at the beginning.
It is beyond frustrating. Please drop them a long email again and say please fix pretty please 😉
Since I am sure you have a copy of the game. Please enter Online Seasons mode for me and say pick Chelsea. Go the formation screen and change some substitutes and reserves around. Try moving Henderson onto the bench and Estevao for example. You will now see them on the substitutes bench. Back out (It will make out it has saved) and then re enter that same section again. You will see that the substitutes are back to how they first were and the players you moved are back in the reserves again.

They mention a lot of things that were and are on the agenda, and from the way it is worded, they should have been, but I cannot guarantee that is what they are referring to. Believe me, it is has been passed back over to them that the community says it was not resolved.
I will test it out on my own to say I did when I send it over. They will do the same no doubt, but if by chance multiple people get multiple outcomes, then something may not be quite right.
EA_Shepard Please let me know once you have carried the test out in Online Seasons. Perhaps even a video from yourself and explaining in that might also help the developers dial in on it and hopefully get it resolved.

So I did not know, but for some reason that happens every time I need to. I did have someone else replicate it once, though, so I let the team know. Once it gets added to me list, it is up to the studio team for that game to go try and replicate it, or do what they do on their end.
EA_Shepard I am glad to see you got someone to verify the issue. Now, hopefully the team will jump into Online Seasons mode and also replicate the issue. Hopefully, then we might get some news on a fix.

Any update from the team about this issue and a time frame. It's just totally game breaking for us players.
I have Estevao, Welbeck, Henderson, Gittens and Quenda I would like to have on my substitutes bench in Seasons mode. Right now they are stuck in the reserves and I can't use them on the bench because it does not save.
