The community is tired of being the QA team
To the Community Managers and the Development Team:
I am writing this not as a blind attack, but as a legitimately frustrated consumer. Year after year, release after release, the community continues to deal with the exact same structural errors, animation bugs, and connection issues that seem to be inherited directly from the previous year's code.
What frustrates the player base the most is the glaring disparity in priorities. When an error occurs in the store or something affects the Ultimate Team economy, we see emergency patches deployed in a matter of hours. However, game-breaking gameplay flaws, freezing menus, and severe input delay remain on your Trello boards for months without a real fix.
We understand that software development is complex, but the current standard demonstrates a severe lack of pre-launch Quality Assurance. Band-aid fixes are being applied instead of addressing root problems, delivering a full-priced product that feels, at best, like a perpetual beta.
We do our part as consumers by paying for the game (and many through microtransactions). You are failing to meet the minimum stability standard expected of a AAA title.
I ask the CMs to escalate this sentiment to the Executive Producers: the 'release broken, patch later' model is unsustainable. The community's patience has run out, and that will eventually reflect in playtime and sales. We deserve a finished product.
