What’s the Point of Elite Players When 70-Rated Teams Are Overpowered?

EA, is making an all-female team rated 70 ridiculously overpowered against an elite 89-rated squad your idea of promoting gender equality?

Why should anyone spend countless hours grinding for elite 90-rated players when their attributes apparently mean absolutely nothing?

What’s the point of having a player with 92 pace when an opponent with 59 pace can somehow outrun him, catch up from behind, and tackle him like he’s standing still?

Why even have a player rating and attribute system in the first place if you’re going to allow teams rated in the 60s and 70s to consistently overpower squads rated 89 and above?

And can someone please explain why female players standing 5’3” are somehow jumping over Hakimi to win headers? Are height, jumping ability, physical strength, and positioning just decorative numbers now?

What exactly are we grinding for? What are we spending our coins on? And why should anyone invest in elite players when the game seemingly ignores the very attributes that make them elite?

There’s a difference between making a game challenging and making it completely illogical. Nobody is asking for guaranteed victories against lower-rated teams. We’re asking for player ratings to actually mean something.

If EA is going to artificially boost lower-rated teams to the point where they outperform elite squads in virtually every category, then stop pretending the attribute system matters. Because right now, it feels like the numbers on these cards are nothing more than expensive decorations.
