EA Play Pro – FC 27 Download Error & No Access

I have an active EA Play Pro subscription on PC, but I am unable to download EA SPORTS FC 27 through the EA app.

When I try to download the game, I first receive the following error:

“There’s a problem with your download. Something went wrong during your download. Give us a few minutes, then try again.”

After closing this message, I can still continue to the download page and select the installation options. However, after loading for a while, the EA app gives me another error stating that I do not have access to this content.

My EA Play Pro subscription is active and has already been verified.

I have already tried several troubleshooting steps:

  • Cleared the EA app cache multiple times
  • Completely closed and restarted the EA app
  • Logged out and back into my EA account
  • Restarted my PC
  • Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app
  • Tried downloading FC 27 again after reinstalling

None of these steps have resolved the issue. The exact same errors continue to occur.

Since my EA Play Pro subscription is active and should give me access to EA SPORTS FC 27, this appears to be an issue with the game entitlement/license being recognized on my account rather than a local EA app/cache issue.

Could you please check whether the EA SPORTS FC 27 entitlement/license has been correctly applied to my EA account and restore access if necessary?

    Important update regarding this issue:

I have now tested multiple games that should be included with my active EA Play Pro subscription.

    • EA SPORTS FC 27 – “You don't have access”
    • Madden NFL 27 – same issue
    • College Football 27 – same issue

This confirms that the problem is not specific to EA SPORTS FC 27. My EA Play Pro subscription shows as active, but my account appears to have no access to EA Play Pro games.

I have already cleared the EA app cache, logged out and back in, restarted my PC, completely uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app, and tested multiple EA Play Pro games. The problem remains unchanged.

Please escalate this as an account-level EA Play Pro entitlement issue and check/reapply the EA Play Pro entitlements on my EA account.

Reinstalling the EA app or clearing the cache again will not resolve this, as the same entitlement error occurs across multiple EA Play Pro games.

Important update: I have now confirmed that this is an account-specific issue.

I created a completely new EA account on the exact same PC and used the same EA app/installation. EA Play Pro games work correctly on the new account and I can download EA SPORTS FC 27 without the “You don't have access” error.

When I switch back to my original EA account, the issue immediately returns and I cannot access EA Play Pro games.

This confirms that the issue is not caused by my PC, Windows installation, network, EA app installation or FC 27 itself. The issue is specific to the entitlements/licenses on my original EA account.

Please escalate this case and investigate/reset the EA Play Pro entitlements on my original account.

  • I have the exact same issue and EA Help is not getting me any further. I hope that this issue will be fixxed asap.
