Hello EA Team,

I would like to report a recurring visual issue in EA SPORTS FC 27.

Platform: PlayStation 5 Pro

TV: LG OLED83C64LA

During matches, the pitch colours suddenly become oversaturated or flash. The image also briefly darkens before returning to normal. These sudden changes are distracting and negatively affect the gameplay experience.

The issue is particularly noticeable during night matches and when play moves towards the far side of the pitch, although it can also occur on the near side.

Other players have reported similar visual symptoms on EA Forums, including reports involving different television brands. While these reports may not all have the same underlying cause, I would appreciate an investigation into whether my issue is related to FC 27’s rendering, lighting or HDR/VRR handling.

Expected behaviour:

During continuous gameplay, pitch colours and brightness should remain stable without sudden flashes or unexplained darkening.

Troubleshooting already performed:

I have tried adjusting television picture settings without resolving the issue. Automatic Dynamic Contrast and Expression Enhancer were disabled. Disabling “Apply to Unsupported Games” in the PlayStation 5 Pro’s VRR settings also did not resolve it.

Please forward this report to the FC 27 development team so they can investigate a possible rendering, lighting or HDR/VRR processing issue.
