FC 27 PC – Stuttering, Slow Motion and Ping Issues
Hello EA Team,
I am experiencing persistent performance and connection issues in EA SPORTS FC 27 on PC. I would like to report both problems because they may be related, although I cannot confirm that they have the same cause.
1. Gameplay performance and stuttering
My FPS is usually around 100–110, but the actual gameplay does not feel smooth. I experience frequent micro-stutters, short freezes and moments when the entire gameplay seems to slow down, including player movement and camera movement.
The issue occurs both online and offline, although offline gameplay feels somewhat smoother.
I have tried different graphics settings, V-Sync options, FPS limits, HAGS settings and NVIDIA Control Panel settings. None of these changes has provided a permanent solution.
Other games on my PC run normally, without similar problems.
2. Ping, connection quality and possible server routing issues
I play from Buynaksk, Dagestan, Russia. My internet service provider is M-Line.
My in-game ping is usually around 53–60 ms. The connection indicator is sometimes orange.
According to my EA Connection Quality Report, my average connection statistics over the last 7 days were:
- Average ping: 53.36 ms
- Jitter: 0.68 ms
- Packet loss: 0.4%
- Connection quality score: 61/100 (Poor)
I also tested GearUP Booster. When using its Warsaw route, my in-game ping stayed around 51–54 ms and the connection indicator remained green throughout the match.
However, even with this more stable connection, the gameplay still felt sluggish and the stuttering did not completely disappear.
I would therefore like to know whether there could be any server-routing or matchmaking-region issues affecting players connecting from Russia, especially users of regional internet providers.
Could you please investigate whether my connection is being routed to the most appropriate EA server or data center?
3. My PC specifications
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 8GB
- RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz, dual-channel
- Operating system: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
- Storage: 120GB SSD + 1TB HDD (FC 27 is installed on the HDD)
- Monitor: Samsung 1920×1080, 144Hz

Questions for the EA team
- Are you aware of ongoing PC performance issues in FC 27 that cause stuttering, micro-freezes and slow-motion-like gameplay even when the average FPS is relatively high?
- Are there any known server-routing or matchmaking-region issues affecting players connecting from Russia?
- Can you check whether my connection is being assigned to an appropriate EA data center?
- Is the development team investigating these problems, and are further fixes or updates planned?
I would appreciate a technical investigation rather than only general recommendations to lower graphics settings, as I have already tested many of the common troubleshooting steps.
