FC27 Launch Error

Hello EA Support,

FC 27 does not launch at all on my PC. The game closes immediately, and this is clearly not a normal installation or configuration issue.

My system:

• Windows 11, build 26200.8037
• Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.40 GHz
• NVIDIA RTX 3050
• 32 GB RAM
• SSD storage

Windows Event Viewer consistently reports:

Event ID 1000 – Application Error

• Faulting application: FC 27
• Faulting module: FC 27
• Exception code: 0xC000001D
• Fault offset: 0x000000015A728F3

EA Javelin AntiCheat also reports that the game exited unexpectedly with:

Exit code: 0xC000001D
Exception code: 0xC000001D
Exception address: 0x155A728F3

0xC000001D indicates an illegal CPU instruction.

I checked my processor using Intel Coreinfo, and my i7-3770 supports AVX but does not support AVX2.

This makes me strongly suspect that FC 27 is executing an instruction that is not supported by my CPU. However, EA's published system requirements do not clearly state that AVX2 is required.

I have already spent significant time troubleshooting this and trying to determine the actual cause. I do not want another generic response telling me to reinstall the game, reinstall Windows, update drivers, or verify the files. The Event Viewer is already giving a very specific CPU illegal-instruction crash.

I need EA to investigate this specific crash and provide an actual solution or confirm the CPU instruction-set requirement.

Please specifically confirm:

1. Whether FC 27 requires AVX2 or another instruction-set extension that is not available on 3rd-generation Intel CPUs.
2. Whether 0xC000001D at this crash location is a known FC 27 compatibility issue.
3. If AVX2 is required, why this requirement is not clearly stated in the published system requirements.
4. If AVX2 is not required, what is causing FC 27 to execute an illegal instruction on an otherwise functioning system.

This is especially frustrating because the game simply crashes immediately with no useful explanation to the user. If this is a compatibility issue introduced in FC 27, EA needs to either provide a fix or clearly document the requirement so users aren't left wasting hours troubleshooting a problem they cannot solve through normal software fixes.

Please escalate this to the FC 27 technical team if necessary. I can provide the Event Viewer logs, Coreinfo output, DxDiag, EA logs, and crash information required for investigation.

Please don't send a generic troubleshooting checklist. I am specifically asking for this 0xC000001D issue to be investigated and fixed or for EA to clearly confirm the exact CPU requirement causing it.
